Contracts
We know that contracts can be complex and overwhelming. In the constantly evolving music industry, we provide clear legal advice to clients and negotiate the best terms possible. Placing our top priority as best interests of our clients, they are confident with each agreement they sign. We review and negotiate agreements surrounding production, management, sampling and recording, music publishing, sponsorships, and songwriter collaboration. We also work with festival and concert touring agreements to make sure that you will receive the best possible rate and protection at these events.
Settling Disputes
One of the biggest struggles that a producer or an artist may face involves actually getting paid. It’s astounding how often major labels, promoters, and other artists don’t place payment as their top priority. We will settle any disputes that arise for our clients, to make sure that they get the money that is rightfully owed to them. Not only have we gotten all of our clients paid, but many of our clients have received double their rate when they aren’t paid on time. If someone stole your beat, we’ll reach the best solution by taking down the song or making sure that you get paid for your work.
Intellectual Property
The best way to protect your ideas, beats, music, and brand as an artist or producer is through trademark and copyright protection. We will guide you through the process of protecting your intellectual property as we handle copyright registration and protection, assignment and administration, and registering your trademark. We’ll also make sure that if your music is being used in TV, film, music videos, or everything in between, that your master and sync licenses fully protect your track and pay you accordingly. When you need your work or brand protected, we’re who you want in your corner.
